The below provides information about the PNR remark formats for emailing GraspPAY.
There are 3 remark options that can be added to the PNR to automatically send an email.
- NOTE: If you need to see the format specific for your GDS, search for keyword VCC then choose the VCC format page based on your GDS(Amadeus, Apollo, Sabre, Worldspan) and the bank that the client uses.
Traveler
GP-emailaddress Emails a copy of the VCC when the fax to the hotel is generated. There is no limit to the number of GP- remarks and email addresses. Emails with the VCC copy will be sent to all email addresses in the GP- remark(s). NOTE: If there are multiple GP- remarks and email addresses, ALL email addresses must be correct and valid, or no emails will be sent.
Booking Agent
GPAG-emailaddress Emails a copy on the booking date. This format is used to send a copy of the VCC, via email, to the booking agent. There can be only one GPAG remark in the PNR. If multiple GPAG are in the PNR, the email is only sent to the first one.
Hotel
EMAIL/VCC/H/HotelConfirmationNumber/hotelemailaddress. Emails a copy of the VCC to the hotel. There can only be one EMAIL remark per hotel confirmation number.
Steps to view the email address(s) that the VCC copy was sent to
- Log in to the GraspPAY web portal: https://grasppay.graspdata.com (if you don’t have a login, please contact your Agency Admin)
- Navigate to Data Café > Data Inquiry, from the left menu.
- Search for the Record Locator code, or confirmation number(use Ticket Number)
- Click on the email icon for the booking under the GraspPAY column. The email address box will show what was populated in the GP-emailaddress remark in the PNR
If the email with the VCC is not received, please check your spam settings, as our emails frequently get caught, especially ones with credit card info. We do not currently have bounce back email tracking, but this is an enhancement we are looking into.
